Those who come by car will soon have a lot less time to get to the World Food Center from the A12. Until now it was quite a search on the barracks grounds here in Ede. But with the construction of Parklaan with a direct exit to the WFC site, that will be a thing of the past. Work started last month.
Ede-Oost is getting busier on the road. Certainly with the developments on our site and the delivery of more and more homes on the other barracks areas and the Enka site. That is why the Municipality of Ede is constructing the new Parklaan that connects the A12 with the N224. The new Parklaan will partly be located along the WFC site and will have 2 turns to the site.
Among other things, the soil is currently being investigated for possible remaining explosives or remains from the Second World War. As soon as this is done, the construction of the road starts. The first turn is expected to be ready for use in the fall of 2020.
Public transport next door
Do you prefer to travel by public transport? The World Food Center is right next to the NS intercity station Ede-Wageningen? That means direct connections with Randstad, Arnhem and Amersfoort. Very easy and sustainable!
